29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: At the residential construction site located at 2501 Troost in Kansas City, Missouri: Employee was exposed to struck by hazards. Framer was observed installing wood materials using a skil saw without eye/face protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the residential construction site located at 2501 Troost in Kansas City, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Framers were observed framing walls and working at height. Framers were exposed to a fall distance of greater than 10 feet eave to ground without use of fall protection. The Decal Construction company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1274680, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 13, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 10816 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, KS 66203.
