29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): (3) Walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a) On or about 6/11/2020 the employer did not ensure that the walking working surfaces located near the staging area of the second floor, where free from hazards. The metal flooring was damaged as a result of the fork lift's forks hitting the edges, this caused the edges to bend up and welds to break, lifting portions of the metal plates. This resulted in exposing employees to tripping hazards.
