29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position.   a- 2133 Lakewood Road, Toms River NJ: Two company employees were exposed to fall hazards when standing/working from the mid and top rails of elevated articulated boom lift man baskets at the worksite.   Condition observed on or about 05/24/21.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:  a- 2133 Lakewood Road, Toms River NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards when working from an elevated man lift basket of an articulated boom lift while wearing a full body harness with one end of a lanyard attached to the harness and the other end attached to an unapproved location not specified by the articulated boom lift manufacturer.  Condition observed on or about 05/24/21.  Brecknock Builders, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1156014, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/25/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1195 Mt. Cobb Road, Mount Cobb, PA.
