(a) 201 School Lane Avenue, Ephrata, PA, East-facing exterior of the garage - On or about April 5, 2022, employees were operating  pneumatic nail guns without eye protection. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Employees on walking/working surfaces with an unprotected side and/or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  (a) 201 School Lane Avenue, Ephrata, PA, West-facing exterior of the garage - On or about April 5, 2022, an employee was observed working on a flat roof which was 12 feet and 10.5 inches above grade and approximately 45 inches wide without fall protection.   (b) 201 School Lane Avenue, Ephrata, PA, East-facing exterior of the garage - On or about April 5, 2022, an employee was observed working on a flat roof which was 13 feet above grade and approximately 48 inches wide without fall protection.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
