29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): Flexible cords and cables were not protected from accidental damage: Work Area Between Office Trailers: On or before June 22, 2021 the employer did not ensure temporary power extension cord(s) were protected from accidental damage. An extension cord was run to the employee break area, which powered a Hessaire Cooling Solutions (Swamp cooler). Heavy metal chair bases were placed on top of the extension cord, which caused the electrical cord to be pinched. This condition exposed employees to the potential of electrical shock hazard(s).
