29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   (a) On or about May 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure that ladders used to access a roof extended at least 3 feet above the landing surface. Employees of Fast Construction, LLC., were exposed to fall hazards greater than 14 feet when the ladder used to ascend and descend did not extend at least 3 feet past the landing surface. 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    (a) On or about May 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure that each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees of Fast Construction, LLC., were exposed to fall hazards greater than 14 feet, while engaged in residential framing activities. Employees were not using fall protection equipment.      Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").  Fast Construction, LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1575918, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3884 Duquesne St, Aurora, CO.  Fast Construction, LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1576502, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2420 Pineywoods Street, Longwood, CO.
