29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system:  (a) On or before February 11, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury in that a framer working on the floor joists of the first level of a new residential building fell approximately 10 feet to the basement below and sustained serious injuries.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet.  (b)	On or before February 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury in that framers worked on the floor joists of the first level and were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the basement below. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet.   (c)	On or before February 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the basement below while working around the exterior of the first level of the residential building.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet.  Fast Construction, LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1606278, citation number 1, item number 1, as a repeat violation, and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 17434 Birds Foot Ave., Parker, CO 80134.
