29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a-762 Route 17N, Paramus NJ: (3rd Story Masonry Edge) An employee engaged in masonry activities was positioned on an unprotected masonry edge exposed to fall hazards of approximately 36t to the ground below in which a personal fall arrest harness was not secured to an anchor point to prevent fall hazards. Condition observed on or about 04/05/2023.
