On or about June 13, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing residential carpentry operations from a Genie GTH-644 rough terrain forklift, twelve (12) feet six (6) inches above the ground , was exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of guardrails.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a. On or about June 13, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a pneumatic nail gun did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with eye injuries.  b. On or about June 13, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a portable circular power saw did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with eye injuries.  Hilltown Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1548861, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2022 , with respect to a workplace located at 1920 Santo Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451.

On or about June 13, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing residential carpentry activities ten (10) feet seven (7) inches above the ground, was not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.   Hilltown Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1548861, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1920 Santo Drive in New Lenox, IL 60451.  Hilltown Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1308358 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 25, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 51 Dungarvan Road in Frankfort, IL 60423.  Hilltown Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1260496, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 16, 2018, with respect to a workplace located between 1809 and 1783 Mays Drive Corner of Mays and Grandview in New Lenox, IL 60451.
