29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) 115 Meadow Lane, Marlton, NJ: Employees were not wearing hard hats/head protection, were exposed to struck-by hazards when working employees removing the roof and throwing debris to the ground below. Observed on or about 02/09/2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 115 Meadow Lane, Marlton NJ: Workers engaged in roofing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards, up to and more than 20 feet to the ground surface below, when walking on and working on a roof of a residential structure without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 2/09/2023. Holanda Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1575334, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 16, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at 689 Stoneyford Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
