29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Second floor by the stairs: The 50-foot long extension cord used to provide power to the Dewalt Angle Grinder exhibited signs of overheating "pig tailing". Employees were exposed to electrical and fire hazards.

29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. Second floor by the stairs: The grinder used to cut and smooth the metal railing was not guarded. Employees were exposed to struck-by and laceration hazards. The Xiang Wang Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628249, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/7/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Community First Credit Union, Hagatna, Guam, 96910.
