Stone Depot of Rhode Island, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1549750, citation number 1, item number 3d and was affirmed as a final order on February 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 940 Wellington Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island.

29 CFR  1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace:   Facilities at 940 and 950 Wellington Avenue, Cranston RI:   On or about August 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were medically able to wear a respirator and that respirators were cleaned and stored so that they would not present a health hazard to employees who may be exposed to dust and silica while required to wear respirators in the:   a) Corian shop (Building 940) and  b) Stone fabrication shop (Building 950)   Stone Depot of Rhode Island  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.134(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1549750, citation number 1 item number 3c and was affirmed as a final order on February 25, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at 940 Wellington Avenue Cranston, Rhode Island.
