29 CFR  1910.178(m)(5)(i): When a powered industrial truck is left unattended, load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls were not neutralized, power was not shut off, and brakes set.   a) 108 Sofia Drive, Manalapan NJ: On or about 10/04/24, a Pettibone All-Terrain lift, used to deliver and support a stack of OSB to workers working from the pitched roof trusses of a worksite residential structure, was left unattended with the load engaging means raised and extended, the key left in the ignition, and the brake not set thereby exposing workers to the hazard of being struck by the vehicle or its supported load.  b) 108 Sofia Drive, Manalapan NJ: On or about 10/04/24, a Pettibone All-Terrain lift, used to deliver and support a steel box used to remove debris generated by those workers who were performing sheathing installation and other framing related activities at the worksite, was left unattended with the load engaging means raised and extended, the key left in the ignition, and the brake not set thereby exposing workers to the hazard of being struck by the vehicle or its supported load.
