29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  a- 12 Ashlynn Court, Manalapan NJ:  A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 8 feet to the concrete flooring below, when using the top step/top of an portable A-framed ladder while performing framing and other related activities at the worksite. Condition observed on or about 01/30/24.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a- 12 Ashlynn Court, Manalapan NJ:  Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 8 feet 4 inches to the concrete flooring below, when walking and working from wooden blocking and doorway headers without fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 01/30/24.  Road Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1707205, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/23, with respect to a workplace located at 99 Wall Street, Passaic, NJ 07055 .  Road Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1698680, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/23, with respect to a workplace located at 619 N Maple Ave., Ho Ho Kus, NJ 07423.  Road Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1688901, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/19/23, with respect to a workplace located at 1281 Knapp Rd, North Wales, PA 19454.  Road Contractor Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686108, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/23, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Main Street, Bethesda United Methodist Church, Middletown, DE 19709.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
