29 CFR 1910.124(g)(2): An emergency shower and eye-wash station close to the dipping or coating operation. In place of this equipment, you may use a water hose that is at least 4 feet (1.22 m) long and at least 3/4 of an inch (18 mm) thick with a quick-opening valve and carrying a pressure of 25 pounds per square inch (1.62 k/cm2) or less and at least one basin with a hot-water faucet for every 10 employees who work with such liquids. a) On or about and at times prior to February 8, 2024, at the establishment located at 2660 West Mason Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin; in the Cleaning Room, the employer did not ensure that suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use where the eyes of an employee may be exposed to injurious corrosive chemicals, such as but not limited to ULTRASOAK 127, exposing employees to contact with a corrosive chemical.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a) On or about and at times prior to April 18, 2024, at the establishment located at 2660 West Mason Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin; at Wastewater Treatment, the employer did not ensure that suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use where the eyes of an employee may be exposed to injurious corrosive chemicals, such as but not limited to KR-B9009, exposing an employee to contact with a corrosive chemical.
