29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Boomerang Rubber, Inc. located at 105 Dinsmore Street, Botkins, Ohio, 45306: On or about October 29, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that the in going nip point created between the rotating tail pulling drum and running belt of conveyor 9 of the South Chop Line was adequately guarded. In this condition, employees working on or near the tail pulling drum at conveyor 9 were exposed to caught in hazards.
