29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) New residential construction Lot #21 at3906 Brushy St. Powder Springs GA. 30127, Roof: On or about March 24, 2025, and times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of at least 20+ feet from the top of the roof to the ground level, in that a fall protection system was not utilized by employees engaged in roofing activities. CSHO observed two employees on the roof, one of which was not attached to a lanyard and anchor point. Freddy's Roofing and Home Repair, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1760826 citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/05/2024, with respect to a workplace located at New Residential Construction; The Oaks at Dawson Subdivision, 177 Water Oak Way, Lot #86, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
