29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:    a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fall hazards as demonstrated on or about February 10, 2026, from the roof of a residential structure located at Homesite 60-62, Sanctuary Drive, McDonough, GA 30253, where employees are installing shingles. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure employees are protected from falls using guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the measure it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.   Freddy's Roofing and Home Repair, LLC was cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1833610, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/20/2025, with respect to a workplace located at Leafy Branch Way, McDonough, GA 30253.  Freddy's Roofing and Home Repair, LLC was previously cited for a or a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1760826, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 5, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 177 Water Oak Way, Lot #86, Dawsonville, GA 30534.  Freddy's Roofing and Home Repair, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1655676, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2056 Cadenza Circle, Lot #42, Dacula, GA 30019.
