29 CFR  1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Industrial truck(s) in use did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks.    a) 7 West 17th Street,  Long Beach, NJ: , Workers on site operated a Lull 644D-3 to deliver and support a stack of lumber to workers working from the second floor level of a residential structure that was being framed, was left unattended with the load  raised and extended over workers, and the brake not set thereby exposing workers to the hazard of being struck by the vehicle or its supported load on or about 04/24/2025.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
