What happened
A Line Mechanic was performing a PM on a press. He wiped his hands off with a used rag and felt a jag in his hand from a foreign body possibly a metal splinter. As the day progressed the employee 's hand became irritated. The employee was evaluated at a medical facility. The employees hand was x-rayed and the doctor determined that the foreign body did not need to be removed at the time but that it would work itself out. The employee was prescribed an antibiotic to stop the infection from spreading.
