A line mechanic was tightening a bolt

While securing a tool in the turret a Line Mechanic’s torque wrench slipped off a bolt head causing his right ring finger to strike the center hub of a dial and fracture the fingertip of his right ring finger. Inspection confirmed that the hex bit and all hex socket head bolts were in good condition. The employee was placed on light duty with a 10 pound lifting restriction.
