Before the incident
Stepping over a rug in the mens locker room
What happened
EE was running late to work. When the EE arrived at work a person from the cleaning company was cleaning the locker room. The floors had been mopped and were still wet while the runner rugs were vacuumed. EE was rushing to get their hard hat and belt out of their locker. While moving through the locker room the EE was trying not to step on the rugs that were being cleaned and did not realize that the floor was wet. EE stepped over a rug unnaturally with their left foot and came down on the wet floor. EEs left foot slipped and they rolled their right ankle. nI asked the EE how severe the pain was. EE said they were having about level 4 pain when sitting still and level 5 or 6 when moving around. EE did not feel they needed medical attention at the time of the report.
