Sheet transfer of patient from patient 's home bed to the ambulance stretcher

The following account is directly from [REDACTED] On call #f250008698 on [REDACTED] I injured my left shoulder while lifting a 200lb+ septic pt. Pt was located on a very squishy bed. Pt was wrapped burrito style in his own sheets. I was on the far side of the gurney reaching across to the pt. I intend to slide the pt onto the gurney but did not expect the bed to be as deep and squishy as it was. The pt was already in motion when I realized the pt would need a slight lift to get him up onto the gurney. I lifted the pt up onto the gurney with arms extended causing increased weight due to the pt being further from my body and a slight jerking motion to get the pt up to the gurney. I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder at the point of the acromion and humeral head. It felt like it got caught internally. I rotated it away from the pain and regained full range of motion. But now I have sharp pains when I move and rotate my shoulder in certain directions and it hurts to lift weight at certain an
