What happened
[REDACTED] [REDACTED] was switching out the main oxygen bottle on ambulance 00158 at [REDACTED] today. He had already removed the empty one and utilized the oxygen cylinder lift to place a new one in the appropriate compartment. The lift was not able to totally lift the cylinder into the exact position. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] released the cylinder from the lift mechanism to complete the positioning manually in the compartment. The cylinder was fully in the compartment but needed final positioning. [REDACTED] reported during the manipulation of the cylinder he felt and heard three pops in his right anterior elbow bicep area followed by pain nausea sweating. He contacted me to report the incident.
