On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate reported an injury on their mid lower back while on picking path in [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. The associate states that while on picking path the item they needed was at the back of the location and they needed to reach for it. They leaned in to get the item as they shimmy the item towards them they felt the pain in their lower back. The associate continued to pick and after the 4th box they lost their balance felt the lower back pain causing them to drop the box. The associate reported an initial pain level of 8 when the injury occurred and a pain level of 6 at the time of the report. During the investigation the site found that the incident occurred in [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. The associate was working in OP6 when they pulled the item with one hand towards them to get it closer to their picking cart.
