Positioning a compound pump into a drum of compound

As employee was lowering pump the agitator blade got caught on the edge of the drum. Employee turned the valve to raise the pump at the same time the forklift driver pulled the drum out by several inches. The air dump valve emptied the pressure of the air which was holding the pump up. The pump fell on the employees left fingers
