Before the incident

The TM TM A was lifting the cart from floor to an upright position with another TM TM B. While lifting the cart TM A was cut from a sharp hook causing injury.

What happened

At approximately [REDACTED] at dock door 80 on the shipping side TM A driving [REDACTED] was loading product [REDACTED] weighing approximately 200-300 pounds when it fell off their walkie. TM A asked another team member [REDACTED] that was working nearby for helping team lifting the product. TM A went on one side of the product while [REDACTED] went on the other. [REDACTED] was lifting the product back to a standing position when the large sharp hook on the top of the product caught their leg above their left knee causing a deep 2-3 inch laceration. The TM called to door 73 in which I ran over to see them bleeding from their leg. The TM was told to elevate their leg to stop the bleeding while a trauma bag was grabbed. Another TM TM C who was nearby assisted me by applying a torniquet and keeping pressure on the wound while 911 was called. [REDACTED] left in an ambulance at approximately [REDACTED] heading to Advocate [REDACTED]. TM is currently being treated there and will return back
