Loading the age oven

At approximately [REDACTED] three employees were loading the age oven. During the loading process the kicker plate was incorrectly installed. The kicker plate came loose and became jammed between the age oven chain and pallet. After attempting to unjam the kicker plate by pushing the pallet forward it was determined that the pallet was unable to be moved and the kicker plate needed to be removed by use of a sledgehammer. While one of the employees left to retrieve a sledgehammer the second employee called a fourth employee over to attempt to push the pallet forward. As the fourth employee attempted to push the pallet forward their left knee gave out. First aid was administered on-site. The employee did not want to go to the emergency room but instead requested to see the company doctor where they were diagnosed with Left Patellar Subluxation and prescribed restrictions of seated duty a maximum lifting weight of 10 lbs. and no repetitive bending or twisting.
