What happened
On [REDACTED] throughout the course of running 138 pieces of 575 thermal 026 flimsy material in P&D before [REDACTED]. The operator was in skill-based mode lifting these parts over his head which would equate to lifting 276 times. Once to put through the lancer and a second time lifting the parts from the debridger. The parts weigh approximately 19.8 lbs a piece. The employee didn’t have discomfort or pain during the activity. The pain and discomfort started later after resting and sitting down then trying to get back up. He reported the incident to the department supervisor EHS and saw the nurse for further evaluation.
