Team lift event of a 154 lb helicopter rotor blade to be transferred in to a holding container for the rotor blade

What happened

Recordable with Days Away EE calls to report and injury to his left bicep He and 3 other workers were lifting a 154 lbs helicopter rotor blade to put it into a transport box When the blade was lowered and being positioned EE felt a pulling sensation and then sudden sharp discomfort burning and numbness to his hand and fingers There is swelling and redness near the elbow on the inside of his left upper arm with an abnormal gap compared to his right arm He is having weakness and decreased ROM to the left arm and hand EE feels he has a ruptured bicep muscle and is requesting to be evaluated at a clinic [REDACTED] Restrictions affecting the left arm no lifting carrying effective [REDACTED] through [REDACTED] On [REDACTED] the Site Supervisor Site EHS and Site HR determined that the restrictions no pushing or pulling no reaching overhead with left arm could not be accommodated The employee has been in a non accommodation since [REDACTED] until [REDACTED]
