Carrier Statement: On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] i was walking to the back of the truck and foot slipped off the burb and I fell down. Supervisor statement: Carrier advised that she exited the truck at to retrieve a parcel from the back of the truck. While walking to the rear of the vehicle at the curb line through the grass while just before stepping off the curb the carrier 's left foot got caught on the uneven grass curb line and she fell to the pavement causing her left ankle sprain. The carrier immediately contacted her supervisor [REDACTED] for assistance and requested EMS as her ankle had begun to swell. Rural Carrier advised that she thought she might have broken her ankle.
