What happened

A crew was tasked with dismantling a scaffold inside the curbed area of the caustic unit 1st effect. [REDACTED] scaffold foreman was assisting his crew on the outside of curbed area by grabbing the material from ground level and placing it in the storage racks. While walking back and forth from storage rack to base of scaffold that was being dismantled multiple times the turner foreman had stepped into a puddle of liquid that was on the outside of curbed area. When the employees feet began to tingle he did not think much of it because his feet because his feet tingle on and off all the time due to a preexisting medical condition. After the tingling did not subside within 1015 minutes the employee went back to the shop to examine his feet. When he realized that he had been exposed to caustic and rinsed his feet with water for around 10 minutes. Notified [REDACTED] supervision.
