Waiting for an employee to return from break.

On [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] a packing employee was waiting for their partner near the eyewash station at the end of the manual pack tables. They were facing the shipping dock and when they turned toward the material flow office they felt something go into their left eye. When the employee realized they were unable clear the eye on their own a first responder was contacted. The first responder attempted to flush the eye and contacted the nurse. The employee was able to see but felt discomfort that gradually worsened. At around [REDACTED] the employee tried flushing it again with drops provided by the first responder. This didn’t help. Around [REDACTED] the discomfort worsened to the point that the nurse was contacted. She advised the first responder to take the employee to see a doctor. The employee was treated and cleared to return to work on [REDACTED]. They were wearing all required PPE.
