Creating a shipping bundle
What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a shipping employee was building a 3 ft tall bundle of boxes to ship. As the employee was rigging the bundle strap to the spreader bar one end of the strap fell to the floor on the opposite side of the boxes. The employee bent over the bundle to retrieve the strap. While doing so the employee felt a pull in the right knee losing the ability to stand. The employee was taken to the company clinic where a diagnosis of a right knee strain with possible internal damage and a prescription of anti-inflammatory medication were provided. The employee was restricted to seated work.
