29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. a.) A) On or about March 2, 2015, the employer did not notify the Occupational Safety & Health Administration within twenty-four hours after an in-patient hospitalization and amputation injury. The delay in reporting of the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA can result in the delay of the incident investigation and identification of hazards.
