29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 08/11/17, on the back side of the roof on a house at 36 Woodcliffe Terrace, Cheektowaga, NY: Employees engaged in roofing tear-off work on a steep roof were exposed to falls of approx. 6 ft. to 11 ft. No fall protection system was being utilized. Pitch of the roof varied in places from approx. 5 in 12 to approx. 12 in 12. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
