29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) 1601 - Employees feeding ears into the Ear Clincher were exposed to point of operation hazards from unguarded punches, on or about August 3rd, 2017. b) 1609 - Employees feeding ears into the Ear Clincher were exposed to point of operation hazards from unguarded punches, on or about August 3rd, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Bway Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1112613, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/09/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1601 Valdosta Highway, Homerville, GA 31634.
