29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function. Packing Area - On or about March 3, 2025, and at times prior thereto, employee(s) conducting refrigeration leak mitigation tasks, wearing Honeywell North 76008A Full-Face air purifying respirator(s), were exposed to respiratory hazards in that they had facial hair interfering with sealing surfaces. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to eyes and nose irritation and respiratory distress.
