What happened
A pipe spool was lifted into the module by a crane. once the crane lowered the load into the module the spool needed to be relocated to reach its final destination. The crew began to do this manually. The foreman also the injured employee noticed they were struggling to accomplish the moving of the work piece. He got involved to help. The piece needed to pass by an adjacent pipe support to get in position. The foreman was lifting on the piece and moving forward with it when his hand made contact with the pipe support.
